Why I Write These Books

I write children’s books to make environmental education accessible, engaging, and meaningful. As an engineer, I understand the science behind water, soil, and air systems. As an educator and parent, I understand the power of stories in shaping values and lifelong habits.

These books are intentionally written to:

  • Support environmental education and sustainability programs
  • Encourage early literacy and critical thinking
  • Foster environmental stewardship from a young age
  • Preserve African languages and cultural identity
  • Serve as teaching tools in schools, libraries, and community settings

Using the Books for Education & Community Impact

Dr. Osabutey’s books are used in:

  • Schools and classrooms
  • Libraries and literacy programs
  • Environmental education workshops
  • Nonprofit and community programs
  • Homeschool and family learning environments

The books are often paired with read-aloud sessions, discussions, and hands-on activities to reinforce learning and real-world application.
